The trains

Currently Fertagus has at its disposal 18 trains, brand Alstom, of four carriages each. Called EQU - Electric Quadruple Units, these units are destined to the fast transport of great amounts of passengers in suburban lines with short and average distances between stations.

The comfort is a priority, being that each carriage of two floors is equipped with air-conditioned and backgroud music. These units have the capacity to carry 1210 people, of which 476 places are seated and the rermaining standing.

We have suitable places for wheel chairs and in each carriage we also have proper seats for pregnant women and customers carrying babies.
