Pragal

This is one of our biggest stations and with a huge daily number of passengers passing by.
It has a large commercial space, parking lots, Sulfertagus, TST and in a nearby future Metro Sul do Tejo connections. Our headoffice is located in Pragal.

Situated only a few km from Almada, it is located next to the Garcia de Orta Hospital, close to the commercial area Almada Forum and it is as well a meeting point of students from New University - FCT; Piaget Institute and Egas Moniz Institute.

From Pragal you can catch TST buses that lead you to the Sanctuary of the Cristo Rei or to the beach area of Costa da Caparica .

The station project is of the Architect Motta Guedes, it has panels inspired by the book “Peregrination” of Fernão Mendes Pinto (chronicler that lived and wrote this book in Pragal) made by the artists Bartolomeu Cid Dos Santos and José Santa Bárbara. This station also includes other works of art called “imaginary cities” in the José Saramago Square made by Charters de Almeida and sculptures in the interior of the station by Francisco Simões.
