Coina

Coina station was inaugurated on October 6, 2004 by the Secretary of Transportation, Dr. António Mexia, thus laying the groundwork for Fertagus’ expansion to Setúbal.

Also designed by the architect Motta Guedes, this station is where glass, architecture, green spaces and works of art by Charteres de Almeida and Nadir Afonso gain complicity, transforming this station an ample, bright and harmonious space.

With its contemporary structure, lines simpler and sleeker than the previous ones, a generous shopping area, as well as parking facilities and Sulfertagus, TST and Transportes Colectivos do Barreiro links have helped this station, also managed by Fertagus, to surpass expectations in regard to  passenger traffic.

Coina Retail shopping area, built near to the station, has contributed to making the station a sought-after destination for leisure.

Bring your bike and place it on the racks available outside the station.
