EDP Lisbon Half Marathon 2026 – Fertagus – Official Transport Partner

On March 8, 2026, the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon will take place.

As in previous editions, Fertagus will support the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon as the Official Transport Partner, offering free round‑trip travel to all participating athletes who present the official race bib.

For this purpose, on March 8, Fertagus will operate Special Timetables for transporting athletes, which can be consulted below.

Regular Fertagus customers who intend to use the service should be aware that there will be an unusually high number of passengers between 08:00 and 10:00 on this day.

Recommendations for participants:

  • Take the train as early as possible towards Pragal Station.
  • On the platforms, respect all safety signage and do not cross the yellow line until the train has come to a complete stop.
  • Board the train calmly and mind the gap between the platform and the train door.
  • Follow the instructions of Fertagus staff and security personnel, who will be present on the platforms to support operations.
  • Be aware of CP (Intercidades/Alfa Pendular) trains stopping at the shared platforms in Entrecampos and Sete-Rios. Intercidades/Alfa Pendular services do not transport participants in the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon.
  • The race organization does not allow bicycles or dogs to accompany participants during the event. Therefore, due to the expected large number of passengers both on the platforms and inside the trains, bicycles and dogs will not be allowed on Fertagus trains on this day.
  • At Pragal Station, and for your safety, follow the marked route towards the starting point.
  • Pragal Station has a suitable number of restroom facilities for regular operation; however, due to the significant increase in passengers on this day, additional portable toilets will be placed outside the station along the path to the starting area.
  • For your well‑being, Fertagus recommends that you do not run the race without having eaten, in order to avoid the risk of hypoglycemia. At Pragal Station you will find several food outlets where you can have breakfast.

Fertagus wishes all participants an excellent race.
